Since v1.15 we have OKBackpack wich will fully replace the mods "Backpack" & "Adventure Backpack". After some time, maybe in v1.17, remove the old mods.

Migration should happen manually, introduced by server owners. No automatic migrations will be added to the modpack (don't have the scope for this).
